We find a lot of customers asking if we offer finance, we don’t and we like to think that we have a good reason why.
- No such thing as a free lunch.
As a direct importer of hot tubs we like to keep our costs down and make our hot tubs competitive, unfortunately there is no such thing as low interest or 0% APR, the cost of providing this to you as the customer is included in the higher price of a hot tub. Ask yourself is the overall price of the tub still a good deal?
- But still want to pay monthly.
That’s great and we all want to spread the payments where we can. As of the 16th of May 2020 these were just two of the providers out there that illustrate what could be useful to you depending on your circumstances.
(A) Paypal
PayPal are currently offering credit where you can pay the balance over 4 months Interest free … truly interest free as long as you payback over 4 months – Click here for details
(B) Bank Loan’s
Loans from HSBC on the 16th of March 2020 was the only one we looked at so carefully do your research. Martin Lewis money saving expert is a great way to research – Click here for his page.
On the 16th of May 2020 HSBC we’re offering £5000 pound loans over 4 years at 6.1%, meaning your repayments would be £117.28 per month and the total repayable would be £5629.35. Again check the price you are paying for your 0% hot tub deal to make sure it makes sense.

- Beware the APR%
The percentage banks are quoting is so important, sometimes borrowing £1 extra makes all the difference. Remember that £5000 loan from HSBC at 6.1% costing a total of £5629.35?
Well, if you had borrowed £4999 the APR would be 18.9% meaning that over the same period of time you would pay back £6978.16. That’s a difference of £1348.81 saved all by borrowing an extra £1.
In summary we don’t inflate our prices by including the cost of providing finance, we concentrate on selling quality hot tubs directly from the manufacture for the best possible price, please do your research carefully and decide what’s best for you.
